I was setting up an account for a friend and discovered that Yahoo has added a category of avatar options just for the LGBT community (and you thought they didn't care!). None of them actually appeal to me, but what do you think?
Incidentally, if I can piggy-back a question, how do you use a photograph or another picture as an avatar? I don't see that as an option anywhere, but apparently you all know how to do it. Thanks.

The pride stuff isn't my favorite, as it's not *my* style... But I have seen people at pride wearing all of that! I added it to my avatar, cause some hater yesterday came in here and pitched a fit how disgusted she was that Yahoo would make pride gear for us. So to spite her and show pride I incorporated some of them.
We have pictures up, by making a 360, you can have the option to use your 360 picture. At least that's how I did mine. There is probably another way, but that way worked easiest for me and now I have 360 to harass others on. Take care! :)

I saw those LGBT avatars - they didn't appeal to me either.
To put a picture/photo as an avatar I believe you have to have a Yahoo 360 set up where you can put that picture. Then you can have your preferences set for that as the avatar.
TGIF??? Tounge goes in first? A great idea - should make for an interesting weekend.

Nah, I'm not all that much into them...but they're cool!
As far as my avatar pic, you have to have a 360 page and then choose to use your 360page pic as your Yahoo! Answers pic...but unfortunately my 360 access crashed and Yahoo! swears there's nothing wrong with it....hmmm
