I have done it tiwce. I bought a pure leather Pittsburgh Steeler Jacket, then YEARS after I got that one and it started showing it's age, I bought another one even more expensive at about $400.00. Once a fan I guess........ALWAYS a fan!

My wedding shoes $300. Then we got a dog. She's only ever chewed one pair of shoes. Take a guess at which pair? I still have one shoe that wasn't too damaged. It is now an ornament. I keep it in front of a lovely picture. It looks cool. I kept the dog, too.

I bought a $125 pair of boots. They are super comfy and I have had them for 2 years now and they still look brand new. I think it was a good investment.

A Burberry trench raincoat. $660. plus tax. (Like Princess Di used to wear.) I grew up very poor and wanted one all my life. I've still got it, and after 20 years it looks fantastic. Alas, it scarcely rains where I live in So Calif.
