both......
like if you are talking about clothes for instance-
say you like something totally wild but your parent/friend/whoever says that it is 'too much'.....
why not tone it down but still keep your personal touches...?
This makes you unique but not outrageous.
Trust me- you will find a 100 different things you like and change your mind equally as much.
I know...I have been there myself and sometimes when I look back at pictures I have to ask myself what was I thinking.
And some things I really regret- like that I have a dozen tattoos (2 down to my elbows that I cannot hide) and now I am married to a great conservative guy and have children (and a lot of explaining to do).
Had I not got carried away back then- I think it would have been much better for me now.

I also wish I had listened to people more when they told me to go to college etc.
Back then I guess I thought I was a badass or whatever...now I am sorry.
So if you want to wear or do what you want- do it with moderation and think twice or better yet think thrice.

When it comes to clothes we have to think intelligently. What I mean is that we have to wear something comfortable for us and at the same time something you like and think is cool. This is important so that when you do go out you don't feel nervous and wonder what people think.
But remember, you shouldn't wear something extremely weird. Like don't style your hair crazy and wear like weird clothes that look weird.
Also I can tell you from experience that it is always good to wear comfortable clothes because uncomfortable ones will hurt you after a while, especially shoes. :D

we should wear we think is comfortable and like. It's our body. As for doing,it really depends...they're may be a happy medium. If it is better for urself as a career move or something to benefit yourself, then I'd probably stick w/that. You don't want to have ppl keep u from what u feel ur driven in society to accomplish. Good Luck!

I think our own styles is important.

It sets us apart from other people. If i were you, I wouldn't listen to other people. If you like what you wear, then wear it. I am a stylish type of guy and like to wear pretty outlandish clothing. Lots of colors, white, purple, pink, black, all vivid colors. I like that style, and some people make fun of me for it, but I don't really care.

When you wear the clothing that you enjoy and like, you are giving yourself self-confidence. You should not let other people control your style.

A genuine and honest personality benefits the individual and it doesn't matter what everyone Else wants.

Initially what you like but if you want to please a partner then you can always do that. It is hard to break away from general fashion trends but you shouldnt really be a sheep either.
