I don't have a book handy to quote from but I know this is in "what to expect when you are expecting." Are you spitting blood when you brush your teeth? If so that is normal during pregnancy. If you are just spitting blood for no reason then I would be seeing my doctor about it! I don't take chances when pregnant.

spitting blood?
I know that when I was pregnant, my gums bled alot while I was brushing. Is this what you mean? That is normal. You should however visit your dentist to get your teeth cleaned and checked. Bad oral health could trouble for baby.
If it is not while brushing, sorry I can't help more.

Pregnancy can cause your gums to become bloody. It's normal. Make sure you brush and floss like normal and see the dentist for your check ups. Pregnancy can also cause your teeth to loosen up!

It's normal. I get bleeding gums all the time (when I floss or brush my teeth).

if it's while you are brushing your teeth then it just means you arent getting enough vitamins or calcium
if you are not brushing your teeth and your gums arent bleeding then you need to see a doctor
