My coworker is constantly fighting and screaming at his kids, wife and dog all day long on the phone. It is really annoying and disrupts my internet surfing. What sort of prank would be appropriate for him?

take a little pepper spray and after he leaves his office for the day, spray a small amount on the phone ear piece. Hell come in the next day and unawares will wipe the stuff off the phone onto his ear then his face and he'll freak.. stuff wares of in about 10 min and not harmful. note make sure you have an extra phone available when he goes to the bath room so you can switch it quickly, before he gets back. You can make the comment, hey you've been so angry at the phone I guess it got you back huh.

Welcome to Cube-Farm land!
Who hasn't had to put ear-plugs to shut out the loud phone calls of chatty cubies?

If you get along with your coworker and won't get into trouble, you could stay late one day (after he leaves) and put a 'welcome screen' on his PC so when he turns it on next day it will pop up with some message you think of.

You could also pin on the cube walls a bunch of printouts with signs that offer help such as family councilng, mental health, fire department hotline, police, etc.

On the other hand, if you are not friendly with your cube neighbor, then your best bet is to ask your boss if you can move to another cube.

Best prank I have ever heard of that is not malicious is putting a gold fish in someones desk drawer. It takes a lot of work, but it definitely well worth it. you line the inside with trash bag and other sealants and fill with water and add your fish. Sand, etc, is optional.

nah they're either too old or too dang boring... at my last job we used to play pranks on each other all the time! The one time my boss sent a mock email round saying we were all going to have our bags searched for office stationery, and then he stuffed my bag full of all the office stationery he could find!!! It was hilarious I must say!

When he gets to work tell him his wife has been frantically trying to get a hold of him. Their house caught fire and the kids and the dog are dead......................What's wrong with both of you and what's wrong with your boss! You should both be fired! You're at work and he's consumed with family issues and you're surfing the internet. It sounds like neither of your services are needed because you are not producing anything.

Put up on your help-eachother-out board at work, a flyer asking people; who need help around the house e.g. mowing the lawn, buidling the palyhouse etc. to contact your coworker, who's got some time to spare and wnats to help a coworker out. Be sure to put his name on the flyer for all to see.

See, it's nice to be nice:-)

Best of luck

When he is out of the office, go into his microsoft word and open the autocorrect. You can set it up so that whenever he types a common work (i.e. the, and, but) it will change it to whatever you want. I used this one on a buddy a while back and he went nuts trying to figure out what was going on. He called IT and finally they figured it out.

Have fun!

If your phones are black, take a black dry erase marker, and coat the earpiece of the phone with it. Next time he uses the phone, he'll have black marker all over his ear and face. A tack on the chair is always funny...it was funny in third grade, and its funny now.

Call when he is not available. Leave a message telling him his loan has been approved and he can come pick up his check. Leave no other information. He will freak out, thinking someone has stolen his identity and is taking a loan in his name.
Someone did it to me. I freaked.

Tie all of his stuff up on the ceiling. IE chair, computer, monitor, and what ever else you find. Then go to the paper trash by the copier and empty it all over his desk.

NOW HE HAS SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT!!!!
