I'm a gay male. My boyfriend has this ex-girlfriend that wants him to hang out with her and she sent him a myspace message and said, "I need my Shaun to talk to and to cuddle with." Do I have the right to be upset about this? He says it's nothing and she does know that he's gay. But still, he did date her and have sex with her, so it may be in her head that he's really not gay. The thing is, I can't even talk to a female if he even thinks she might like me in the smallest way. But yet, when it comes to him not talking to that stupid B****, he isn't having it, and I'm "over-reacting." He knows I don't want him talking to her, and I asked him to read me the message, and he did, kinda. He just forgot to mention that she left her phone number in the message wanting him to call her. What should I do? I'm not one bit happy about it and I'm not going to be. I just wanted to see if someone knew what I might need to do? Maybe someone will agree with me.

You do have the right to be jealous. A relationship is not based on sex alone. Even if he is not or has no intention of having sex with her again..he has an emotional comittment to you..you should be his first priority. That is the choice that he has supposedly made. He should either stick by his choice or be honest with you. He can't have it both ways.

Sounds like you're both being jealous. If he's gay, he won't do anything with this girl. She'll just end up being embarassed by the situation. You need to tell him likewise, that you can associate with females. He can't put you in a "do as I say, but don't do as I do" situation - that's just unfair

You two better sit down and have a talk pronto...this relationship is doomed if you do not remove the "ownership" labels you are both heaping on each other. Niether has a right to tell the other who and when they can spend time...this is not relationship threatening, and it shear stupidity. You are both young, aren't you?

Sometimes when it comes to dating a guy and after you break up and he comes out of the closet they just choose not to believe it.Or and i and I hate to say this but she maybe having trouble in her life and needs a gay guy to talk to.Its just so much comfortable to poor your heart out to someone who you know wont check you out.I believe you should talk to your mate.If you explain that you don't feel comfortable about the situation and that you feel jealous and ask him to not try anything. If he really loves you he will respect your wishes.hope your relationship works out.good luck

The problem isn't jealousy, and you don't have the "right" to be jealous because it's not a right to have. The problem is that you're dating a jerk. Get out, build up your boundaries & get a real man.... because it's not gonna get any better.

You have to be jealous or you will lose that person. Jealousy is healthy as long as it doesnt choke that person or as long as its not harmful

Change your name to Jack (just Jack).

It sounds like you have the "Will and Grace" syndrome.
