He will have to play PF and, therefore, will not get as many opportunities to play with his back to the basket in the low-post as he did in college, and he will be guarded by bigger players.

At PF, he will be guarded by taller and tougher defenders (think Garnett, Duncan J.O'Neal). Plus, it seems like almost every team (besides memphis) has a go to scorer already...so he will not be the focal point of any offense. Maybe in years to come, but not in the first few years anyways.
His BEST case scenerio is that he can turn out like Elton Brand.

That will depend on which team he get's drafted by. Seattle seems like the perfect destination for him since they are hurting for some post interior play but they pretty much handcuffed to themselves to Durant already. Memphis and Boston, drafting 4th and 5th, already have great interior power forwards in Al Jefferson and Pau Gasol. I think Horford would be a good fit with Atlanta since they could use a low-post scorer. That is, if they don't go after their most pressing need and draft point guard, Mike Conley Jr.

If Horford falls to #9, he could be a great fit for Chicago. A good inside scorer would fit well in Skile's system. If he can prove himself at the defensive end, he will get plenty of chances to score. Look at how David West has come in to the NBA for the Hornets, he is a similar talent.

When its all said and done he should be a good 10/10 guy. The first couple of years he want score much because he will not get many minutes unless he excels. I would take him on my team any day.
