OMG! Paris is EVERYWHERE!!! She couldn't have gotten more press if she paid for it!!
She actually said "I'm not really like how the press portrays me." My A** she's not. Anyone else with a "Medical Condtion" would have gone to the infirmery, or a county hospital under gaurd, then would have right back in that cell. Little miss princess needs to commune her shiny white hiney in that prison cell, and if I were the judge I make her do ALL 45 days for this little stunt. If she truly is losing it, put her in a state mental hopital for 45 days.
I know our justice system is screwed up but....geez!!

I dont think its fair at all. She did the crime she should pay the time. Just because she has alot of money and what not its still not right. Shes no different then anyone else. She should go back to jail. But I doubt it will happen. She'll get to kepp the house arrest and I bet she dont even stick to it!!!

She is getting special treatment and it is so not fair. If it was one of us who is not rich and famous we would still be in jail and for the 45 days. This is the American justice system for you. "Medical Reasons" yeah right give me a break. She didn't have medical problems when she was club hopping around LA every night.

I hate it. The whole reason she went to jail was because she violated probation for DUI. That is one of the most serious crimes that someone could commit. You're in a deadly machine that could kill you or someone else on the road. There is some things I don't mind a slap on the wrist but drunk driving, murder or things like that there is no way to give someone a break.

I agree with all of you, but did you hear? that she may be back in jail because the judge did not agree with the sheriff decision, and the sheriff had no right to send her home hopefully she'll be back to jail today, all this is making America's law look like a freaking joke!

House arrest at her house is like a resort for most people, just because she cannot go out does not mean people cannot go inside. So her punishment is pretty much no clubbing or shopping for a month, is that the correct punishment for putting innocent, sober people in danger, I think not.

She should be treated just like everyone else. I doubt they let other women out of jail because they cry and refuse to eat for two days or develops a rash on her butt or whatever. You just have to wonder, if your daughter was convicted and sent to jail how would she be treated?
So is Paris Hilton more valuable than your daughter?

I think it's a shame when pieces of rich s... like her can have a "get out of jail card" in their pocket! Paris is nothing more than a spoiled rich b.... who has no regard for anything, she will most likely be partying again and driving again and when she hits a person (and you know that's inevitable) what will those "Padded pockets" be thinking then? WHAT A FARCE OUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM IS!

I agree, the whole situation is BS. Ive never heard of someone getting out of doing jail time because of a "medical reason" especially since they said it was mental and not a physical reason, COME ON!!!! are you kidding me? send her to the effin psych ward then...she probably belongs there anyway.

They put her in house arrest, yes, because she's a celebrity, but not for why your thinking. It's for her own safety. If she were put in a cell with other inmates, who knows what would happen, because she's a celebrity. It's more for her safety than her comfort. Although, yes, I know, it seems unfair. But sometimes stuff ain't fair; that's just the way the world spins.
