Does anyone know where can I find a school for cocktails or something similar in Sydney in September?
I'm moving there with a WHV and I'd like to work again in a bar.
also: is it easy to find a job? is the salary enought to live? are tips usual?

Should try TAFE, good reputable vocational school in oz. Really depends how much time you have. I suggest you to go to Democks Building on yoru right hand side on George St. ,not far from Myer and before 400 George St. level 8, it is a huge center for young fellow. You can check out everything from travel, work, course and accommodation.

Sydney is an easy place to find jobs, trust me. Money is quite good and enough for living and saving.

Good Luck!!

As well as doing your training you will need a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate which you can get with a one day course at TAFE. There are plenty of bars and pubs in Sydney and all of them are required to pay the award wage which is enough to live. Tips are not usual in bars and pubs, tipping in general is not common in Australia as people are paid properly - even taxi drivers.
