We really do need a lot more information to be able to truly answer this question. First, what is he hiding? It could be a hugh range of things such as money, where is goes, alcohol, who is friends are, what he does at work, where he goes for lunches, who he takes to on cell phone, and so many more. I believe that if there is trust between a husband and a wife then nothing is left hidden. There could be things that he just forgets to mention because is does not seem to be worthy of mentioning that could lead you to think that he is hiding things.
If he is hiding things about money or women, I believe that you should do some snooping around. You could do a thorough overview of cell phone bills, credit card bills, ATM withdrawals, debit card uses, check care mil age daily, etc. if you believe that is is just innocent forgetful stuff I would just take to him and let him know that you are interested in his life and what he does though out the day. Depends on what kind of "stuff" we're talking about here. Is it nonsense stuff or serious stuff? If it's fluff, he may not even think it's important enough to talk about, we all do that. If it's serious, like financial troubles, other women, etc.. find out what he's hiding by asking his mother, she'll know. Maybe you need to send him back there and have her finish the job of raising him to be a responsible adult that can enter into an adult relationship with adult issues. Throw him back, I don't think he's done yet.

I don't know what he is hiding but it depends. My husband and I have an understanding we give each other privacy. I do not check his phone he dose not check mine. I do not go into his wallet he is not allowed to go into my bag. However, there is trust. Reverse pyschology; hid the things hes most likely to hide from you first before he does. Will drive him nuts once he thinks hes forgotten where he hid something he didnt. Fight fire with fire.
