Each of them are the cutest. but i must say my Baby Daughter is rather good looking if i say so myself :)
But ALL Babies are cute, all kittens are cute and all puppies are cute.

To Comic Book Guy, I can at least give a psychological look on the question. ( I may be wrong as well )
Apparently, when a child is young, it will look more like the father than it will the mother, so when the father, seeing an image he recognises ( not nessecairly of himself but of his family group ) is more likely to bond with the child. Obviously, as the child grows, it takes on it's own characteristics.
Look at pictures of Russell Crowes first born not long after birth to have the concept illustrated.

Either sex baby, because you can't tell the difference between the sexes at birth.
Kittens are the cutest, as babies have a power in that thier little people.

For me, I have to say a male baby. When I had just given birth to my third son and the nurse had cleaned him up a little bit and wrapped him in a bunny rug and placed him in a bassinet, I looked over at him to see what he looked like for the first time and he was laying there all rugged up with such a peaceful look on his face and was staring into my eyes with awareness and complete innocence, my heart just melted.

Hmm, that's tough... a kitten is cuter than a newborn (they look like aliens IMO) but once a baby is a couple of months old, nothing is cuter. No difference in cuteness between boys and girls.

It depends on the individual boy, girl, or kitten, although my friends and I tend to give more awwws to girls. Probably because we see more of them around the mall.
I have a pair of almost-cousins (girls) in the province next to mine. I don't care how cute any of your kids are; my girls cannot be topped. Period.

kitty, followed by either sex baby- in general it's hard to say whether a baby boy would be necessarily that much cuter than a baby girl.....
