Death from asphyxiation, within several seconds to a minute.

My guess is that it would take 4 to 10 minutes. The human body doesn't give up that easily and conditions on Mars are not such that his head would blow up or anything like that. The person would just have the air sucked out of him/her and die of suffocation, as the others have said.
I would hope that if such a thing ever happened, the person would lose consciousness in a few seconds, but even that might not happen for a minute or more. To shut down the neural and circulatory systems completely would take longer than one might at first be inclined to believe.

He would pass out from lack of oxygen in a few seconds. Death from lack of oxygen would follow in a few minutes. He would not explode. A least one person has been accidentally exposed to a vacuum, in a space suit test in a vacuum chamber that went wrong, and he lived.

Likely cause of death would be asphyxiation, since the atmosphere of Mars is primarily carbon dioxide.

You know there is no oxygen on mars planet, and in comparision to earth gravity too is low, and pressure of air on mars is very low as compared to the pressure of air on earth.
If one takes his/ her helmet out on mars, definately he/ she would die bcos of lack of oxygen but , he wont feel the pain of dieing due to oxygen , but he will feel the pain of dieing bcos of low pressure.
When u put ur hand in vacuum air suck ur hand. And all ur nerves starts coming out of ur body. In the same manner when one puts his helmet off, due to lack of air or of having low pressure of air, all his/ her blood nerves started coming out of his body and soon he would burst in the air. and all atoms of his body will spread in the vacuum and will keep as space as they can between them.

Long before one would die from the lack of oxygen, the blood and liquids in the body would boil from lack of atmospheric pressure.

Nearly instantly. It's an unbelievably hostile environment.

Instantaneous death by suffocation...assuming the lesser atmospheric pressure doesn't cause your head inflate and explode.
