I'm a democrat. I agree with republicans on some issues but overall lean more towards democrats way of thinking. I am really appalled by the democrats inability to stand up to Bush though. He has made many, many mistakes and it's unbelievable to me how they back down from challenging him. SO what I want to know is do you still beileve 100% your political leaders are making the right choices? and if so why do you still support them?

PLEASE don't tell me you support everything the president does because he's the president and we're at war, by that logic you would have supported Hitler too, so how about a good reason.

you all have renewed my faith in humanity, It seems like most people on here will agree with anything their party leaders say. Glad to see there are still people who think for themselves out there.

I have ALWAYS voted Democrat...but I have to say I am very disappointed that the Democrats can not see that this immigration bill which gives the illegal aliens AMNESTY will distroy the USA and then give LEGALLITY to the SPP and North American Union that they are trying to say is "good" for the USA...but forgetting the fact that WE ARE A SOVEREIGN NATION!

I am also sick at the point that the Democrats have not been able to reign in Bush at all, and in fact keep giving into him. He may be the "President" but he aint god and should pay for the lack of leadership he has given...starting with his ILLEGAL attacking of a sovereign nation without any reason to attack...to the point of his CREATING Intel out of thin air as a reason to attack!

You had a good point about Hitler and supporting him...very good point indeed!

I'm a Libertarian, and I do support them 100%.

However, that doesn't mean what it would to a Republican or a Democrat.

Republicans and Democrats are basically a bundle of platform positions. If that's all a party is, it's unlikely that anyone would support one specific bundle totally.

The Libertarian Party is based on principles. The most basic principle is "you own yourself". Other ancillaries flow from that, including "everyone else owns themselves, too" which is how one knows the limitations on individual Rights. I do support these principles 100%.

We also do have platform positions, and sometimes there is a disagreement among Libertarians as to how these principles apply to particular questions, leaving two Libertarians as likely to disagree on questions like Abortion as any two random people off the street. The difference is that the two Libertarians will be talking about the same principle, and be able to discuss their views without wanting to choke each other.

Yes, I support the Libertarian Party 100%.

Not one person should. It is okay to lean towards a party, most people do this, myself included, but all in all leaning completely on one party would not be trying to get the best person for the job.

And I do support Bush in some cases, and other times I do not. I find it ludacris all of these people running around saying that he is the worst president. These people have no memory of history.

Maybe not in this election, but in the near future I see this country 100% willing to consider a viable 3rd party independent candidate. We had one in 1992, and had Perot not dropped out (because of death threats to his family) the 90s might have been a LOT different! Maybe they can be again someday. Because between the right and the left, there are about 100 million voters right in the middle who are just as fed up with BOTH parties as we seem to be.

No I do not support everything my party does. But I tend to disagree with almost everything NeoCons come up with.

I almost always see the Conservative side of an argument and sometimes agree with it.(actually agree with it alot)

But unfortunately, there really aren't many Conservatives left so now I have moved to the left on many issues...manly because the views are the same but the reasons for thinking that way are different.

The answer is simple Democrats won't push to hard because it will expose the fact that they have no real solutions, only complaints.
No political party is right 100% of the time. I agree with McCain on the war on terror, but his amnesty bill is appauling. Unless you are on a ballot yourself, there will never be a canidate with which you should NEVER disagree.

The political parties in the US have been hijacked by lobbyists and PACs. The Republicans are consumed by religious zealotry and power. The voice of the average American middle class has been drowned out by money.

I am a Republican, and agree with all their issues, except legalizing illegals, but the Democrat's, for the most part, want to do that, too. I am for the party, but against politicians. Make sense?

I'm with you, buddy - but this should be nothing new.

Supporting 100% any cause or platform reflects the inability to think for yourself. Even the O'Reilly factor is no 'no spin' zone.....

Did my best during the years I infiltrated the republican party to use there call lists to convert republican voters with smear campaigns .
Would call republican voters and pretend to be representatives of the candidate and be rude and say outlandish things in an effort to get them not to vote republican . This worked well for awhile and several elections changed dramatically in the last two weeks before they could respond to the charges and outlandish accusations .
politics is politics .
