Greetings from another true gentleman.
Indeed I recall something described as " barbeque spare ribs" from KFC, and most fine fare.
I do not rely on fast food esablishements too often, but cannot resist checking out the latest Mc.D or KFC item at a nearby service station now and then, when in lazy mode in the kitchen.
Bring back the ribs !, although it was pointed out that they were pig ribs, and nothing to do with poultry.
As a side order, I have a scanned concoction of Albert Einstien looking at camera, and writing KFC as the answer on a board.
I shall make a fried seaweed thing, lamb cutlets, and banana pancakes tonight, then go to KFC for a bucket full of goodies tomorrow.
I shall enquire about the missing spare ribs.
Bob.
(All this stuff, and I am still a tad underweight ! )

At that cost the chickens could be intensively reared. If the ordinary public fairly cared, they does no longer purchase KFC or any of the different low-priced chicken products. We in many circumstances decide to purchase our nutrients as low-priced as attainable, and not think of too lots approximately why the fee is so low. on an identical time as we've this approach, quickly nutrients resturants will make their money and animals will go through for it. No, i'm no longer a vegetarian, yet do attempt to shop ethically.

Yes, that was many moons back, late 70's for me, thick sauce that used to stick to everything and you needed more than one wet wipe to clean your hands.
They were good though !.

I am in the US, so my answer is no.
But, I do remember when McDonald's tried a "Rib" sandwich. It was not very popular.
