Met a guy from another state this past weekend. We were both on vacation and he really seemed to like me. We shared a few nice kisses, but nothing else. He gave me a rose and said I had a piece of his heart (which is BS but the rose was very sweet). Then he wrote me down his number and asked for mine. He asked if this was really my number, I told him if I didn't want him to call me I would tell him so. I was leaving the next morning and the way we said goodbye was rushed and awkward. So three days later I had him on my mind and i just bit the bullet and called. I am an adult and figured I am just gonna be the one to call. I wanted to leave on a better note and by telling him that made me feel good. He was very sweet and glad I called. He said he wants to meet me again. Then he says I'll call you in a couple MONTHS!? I was so blown away by that I just said bye and threw his number away so I will never call him back. Strange right? Whats up with that is he married? MONTHS???????

That's funny...months. He's married as the day is long. I'm surprised he even gave you his real number...I'm positive it was his cell phone number, not his home. You did the right thing, in all accounts, though I don't know that I would have called him first. But anyway, just don't call him again, and if he calls you...in a couple of months, you may want to ask him "why the months". It could be he's in rehab or some other program and will be free then. Or he could be going through a divorce and will be legally divorced by then, who knows....it could turn out to be a good thing. At least he didn't try to get you into bed and then bail.

Or he could have been going out of the country. Who knows really? I'm not sure why him being married would make him have to wait a couple of months. Some men seem to have lots of time for affairs behind their wives back, so I'm not sure time is the factor here. If I was you, I would have just asked him why so long. You wouldn't have looked desperate or needy to ask. I think most would have inquired as to why a couple of months. Then you could have decided to believe him or not, but to me it's seems he's going to be away for a while, more than being married. Whether it's jail or the military is hard to tell. Either way, I wouldn't be waiting around for his call.

Good girl for throwing out his number. The odds of him being married are pretty great. If he is married he should have never started what he wasn't able to finish. But if he is married you've got to at least respect the fact that he didn't take it any further, there are plenty of men and women that would have and DO. There is a name for these people and that is HOME RECKERS. Ok now lets just say for a moment that he’s not married, you still did the right there, who does he think he is, I’ll call you in a couple of months. Girl you got things to do move on.

I don't think it makes a difference if he is married or single. He is not looking to see you is the bottom line. This is why woman get frustrated because 1 minute there into you the next they blow you off for no good reason. Sounds like at the time it got your number he was going to call then came home and changed his mind.

No, he might not be married at all. But Yes, he's not that attracted to you. He had 3 days to decide whether or not he liked you enough to call, and he didn't. Telling you he'll call you in a few months is saying "I'm not that interested in you."

He's either being funny, stupid or high on something. You did well to throw away his number. Unfortunately you let a fool kiss you. You need not to worry about that as I guess you must have brushed your mouth over and again since then.

Unless he was in the military (if so he would of told you) then I would suspect he was hiding a relationship and 2 months from now he could sneak away...It is strange and you are better off without the guy

I'm so proud of you to throw his number away. I don't know if he is married but something is defiantly up with this guy. Plenty of fish in the sea, you don't need a grown man playing games.
