I would have to say no, because the only 13 year olders I have seen touch the rim were all above 6'3. Thats pretty good if you are touching a 10 foot rim, and you should keep practicing it so you can dunk very soon. I am 5'11 200 pounds 15 years old and I can barely touch it.....(I need to loose some weight L0L) !

I would say that if you are able to do that then you would be above the normal expectations for your height and age. I've got a 12 year old son who is almost 5'8 and very athletic. He can not come close to reaching the rim.

Of course... I'm only 5'6", but during my high school years, when I was 13 to 14 years old. I can slam that ball in that standard rim height. It takes practice and perseverance to maintain that.

of cause its is normal, when i started playin ball bout six yr ago i can touch the rim im only 5"8. but i started when i was 16 so it good for you at that age, plus your still growin keep it up. n yeh im still 5"8 maybe cause i started playin ball very late
