Your examples have to do with the US trade balance not the national debt.
The U.S. public debt, commonly called the national debt or the gross federal debt, is the amount of money owed by the the United States federal government. This does not include the money owed by states, corporations, or individuals.
Under President Clinton the growth in debt ceased, but has radically change in direction since George W. Bush entered office. There is no question and a lot of mathematical proof that the steepest upward rises in debt since the end of World War II, started with President Reagan and continued with other so called Neo-Conservatives.

Umm, you are talking apples and oranges. What you reference are aspects that affect the Trade Deficit not the Budget deficit.. The trade deficit refers to Importing (or purchasing) more goods that originate in a foreign country than Domestically.
The Budget deficit is when the Government Spends more money than it takes in (tax revenues vs Government expenditures). This is the result of Reduced taxes, while trying to do everything we normally have do in our country AND now pay a trillion dollars for a war with zero accountability for expenditures.

I will add this. I am a product/process engineer and we produce heavy equipment and automotive powertrains and components. One part we purchase from China (4th clutch hub) OE cost from GMs supplier is $54. We can purchase a better quality (more durable) component that matches all other specs from China for $26. this is due to UAE workers getting $40 an hour for tightening one bolt on one part. If we were completely dependent upon US made goods, none of us would be able to afford anything.

Nope. You're confusing national debt with trade imbalance. Anyway, buying things that are foreign, if they are better and cheaper, actually increases the net wealth of Americans. Mine, in particular, but also the American overall wealth.

The only way to reduce the national debt is to convince our government to quit spending money it doesn't have. For that, we need a leader who doesn't spend like crazy. I think the only real answer is Ron Paul for President.

You are describing trade balance (or complete lack of) - not debt. Most Americans buy large ticket items on credit - which in general are American companies,

um I think you are confusing the trade deficit than the budget deficit

The trade deficit is us importing more goods then we export.

The budget deficit is Bush spending more money then he takes in.
