I am not saying that Global Warming does not exist. I am not a scientist. But what I see is that Democrats are using global warming to bring down Republicans.

If Global Warming was around for decades, what Al Gore accomplished, when he was VP?

Now there is a democratic majority, where are the proposals and legislations to change anything?

Agreed! Global warming is a political tool.
There are far more important issues to solve in the short run, than global warming emmissions.
Pollution in our air and water was and should be a priority (since the 1970's). However, neither the democrats or the republicans did much about the matter. Pollution is starting to have its toll on this society. Rising Health care costs are due to Aging and pollution, not global warming!

Since, curbing global warming emmissions will lower pollutants emmitted into the atmosphere...
spending time and money on this political band wagon will do no harm.

This is a politcal tool, its just the same old 'car', with a different 'hood'. no?

Democrates are using the global warming issue to impose more government control over the lives of all Americans. They will seek higher taxes on energy, products that people need to have a modern life, and other schemes yet to be revealed. Democrates will oppose any free market solutions to what they perceive as a problem caused by and fixable by man. They will use theis issue to transfer wealth from the working class to the non-working welfare class and the government, all the while allowing their friends (the rich) to opt out of this lunacy(carbon offsets) Global warming will become an excuse to grant more power to the UN, to transfer more money from th industrial west to the third world(providing it comes with certain strings attached) This isn't about science this is all about the promotion of a secular agenda which seeks to destroy traditional cultures world wide. The next time you engage one of these Earth worshiping religious zealots ask this question. What is the ideal temperature for the Earth? Then watch the puzzled look come over their face, the anger rise(you have blasphemed) and step back so the spittle coming from their mouth doesn't drench you

Democrats are using global warming to win the presidency in 08. Then they will do research that states the it is not really as bad as once was taught. They know that if they really try and stop emissions that this economy would crash. I all so am not going to say that global warming is not real but it can not be proven that it is man made and not a natural cycle.

It just goes to show democrats are not to bright. They should use the whole unjustified invasion and occupation of a foreign country to bring down the republicans. ALSO just to explain how the democratic process works, Congress cannot get anything past Bush without a 2/3 majority which democrats don't have. Though they probably wouldn't stand up to him even then.

Yes, and his name is Newt. I don't know why they bother, since old Newt hasn't got a chance at the Presidency. I guess they're bored, and it's more fun to pick on Newt, than to do anything for the country, and concentrate on real issues. I don't mind though. The better for the Republicans to win the White House, as long the Demo's keep acting stupid.

global warming is not a sham

the belief that mankind is responsible for global warming is the sham.

more polution comes from a single volcano, much less all the volcanoes, forest fires, cow farts, ect, than all the car emmisions combined in one year.

Yes. In fact 30 years ago, the same scientist that are claiming the earth is warming were saying that we are headed for an ice-age. It just all depends upon who pays for the report.

If we think we as humans are powerful enough to destroy the earth, we are fooling ourselves.
