You realize almost everyone will answer along partisan lines, regardless of which party actually has done the most damage. Historically, it's been the Democratic Party, but both parties' ideologies have changed dramatically during the 20th century.
In today's world, however, I cannot trust the arch-conservative Republicans. Party loyalty is what matters to them above all at the exclusion of independent thought. At least in the Democratic Party, there is room for individuality.

Republicans like lots of control while liberals like lots of freedom .
Liberals want to save the environment and republicans exploit it for maximum profits .
Republicans want the military industrial complex to continue and expand cause they are heavily invested in war products and services. Liberals prefer to negotiate peace without having to resort to violence .
Once a republican makes up his mind on an issue thats it .
Democrats are open to new information on the subject and if convinced will change their minds .
Republican traditionally are God And Country in that order and liberals are more diverse with a sense of spirituality and that organized religion is more harmful to society then the benefits it offers .
So republicans want the bible taught and the ten commandments and liberals want reality taught and reasonable criminal sentences that work towards retraining and educating those who resort to crime to get by .
I have to admit that while me and the liberals agree on many issues they do have a position that is untenable to me . Thats is pro-choice . To me that means being pro murder . Thats contrary to preaching save the whale and the dolphin and the seal when insuring that the next generation be destroyed while they are at their most vulnerable stage of development .

Proponents of the two sides could assist you comprehend balloting for the different could be evil. the final answer "could desire to be" vote for the ideal guy or woman for the job that ideal represents your ideals. regrettably I even have 0 faith in the two occasion to do what's ideal. it is to no longer say persons interior of the two events could be a great asset to the administrative.technique yet as an entire the themes are starting to be so polarized that no longer something gets accomplished. i'm conservative however the republican occasion which will desire to be maximum heavily represenative of my ideals is doing extra injury than solid for me because of the fact of their unwillingness to make concessions and are available up with a minimum of a few answer. comparable is genuine of the dems. because of the fact they're so polarized as a replace of doing some thing they have chosen to do no longer something.

Republicans. They are less taxing(let me keep more of my own money. Less likely to interfere in my personal business(do not support sexual harassment laws that make asking a girl out twice a crime) Less likely to give sovereignty to multinational unelected governmental bodies(won't sign Kyoto) Less racist ( want to reform affirmative action to base it economics rather than skin color) More tolerant of different point of view(resist Darwinism as a state religion) All around I can't see a single reason why I as a white married heterosexual male with children who pays taxes owns property and thinks America is a good country would ever want to vote Democrat

Democrats, where Republicans spend most of their time trying to screw the average American to enrich an elite few, the Dems try to screw the upper middle class and wealthy to help the lower rungs of society...don't get me wrong, the average person still probably gets screwed by either but after 6 years of Bush, it couldn't get any worse

The Dems by a hair. With few exceptions, politicians in general care only about advancing their careers and making as much money as possible. And these two objectives can only be accomplished through unscrupulous activities.

Democrats, obviously. As much of a liar as people keep calling him, you didn't see Clinton rush into a country like Iraq, send it to the brink of destruction and take their oil did you? I didn't think so.
