Children of Bodom might be too hard for you, but if you want some old school stuff check out Iron Maiden. They sound kinda like A7X. Nice music choices though(Escpecially Atreyu and A7X). Oh yeah and AFI's good but you probably think they are Emo.

Check out these local/regional bands. I played in a band for quite awhile and met some really cool guys and really good bands: Neverset (from TX), Dawn Over Zero (from TX), Red Line Chemistry (from MO), The Leo Project (from MO), Signum (from KS), Nonpoint, Revelation Theory, Opus Dai, The Dreaming, etc... I have links to all of their pages on my myspace. Check it out: http://www.myspace.com/drum_bum04

ALSO I AGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS USER, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE IS THE ****!!

I just bought the debut album from Black Light Burns...Wes Borland's new band. Don't worry, it doesn't sound anything like Limp Bizkit, it's more like a gothic album with heavy guitars and keyboards. It's pretty good!

New? As in new to you or new to the world? If new to you, try Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Butthole Surfers, Sweaty Nipples, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Nuclear Assault, Suicidal Tendencies. If these aren't new to you, my sincere apologies.
