Don't you think there is a whole world out there out of the computer? Don't you have a life? And what is that people here want to have fans?

Why do you feel the need to criticize others?

Have you given any thought to others lives or living conditions or did you exert any reasoning why you'll find people answer more than 1,000 questions?

We don't need criticism...and we aren't looking to have fans. The truth is that some of us are disabled and house bound and this is a form of communication and entertainment to us.

I guess many of us aren't as fortunate as you because to many people this IS a part of their lives.

I know you only wanted those who answered 1,000 questions, but I think I will be there in about two weeks. So, I wanted to answer your question anyway.

Yes there is a world out there outside of my computer. I have three kids and would never be able to spend that much time on my computer and keep up with them, let alone other things that I do. So, yes I have a life. I do a lot of volunteering and research, and I'm also writing a book. So, I have a full plate. And finally, no, I don't want to have fans.

I just answer a few questions a day. I do this because it is one more way to keep my mind in shape and I love to learn things from other people as well as books, computers, teachers, tv, and my kids. I try to concentrate and answer questions at thoroughly as possible. This sometimes takes a lot of thought when I want to put the effort into it. It also gives me some practice in writing.

Also, I have asked questions pertaining to the other things that I do. In exchange for the answers to my questions, I try to give answers to others.

Plus, it is fun for me. I much rather do this than a lot of other things, and there are other things I'd rather do. But no, I only spend a short time doing this each day.

there is absolutely a world out there beyond the computer. i just happen to have a job that requres me to sit in front of a computer for 12 hours at a time and i can't go into that "outside world" yes i have a life! i have a husband and two great dogs and a family and friends but i'm sure you don't bring your family friends and pets to work do you? thankfully my job allows me to answer questions on here and it is something i enjoy doing. and it helps me keep my typing speed up (about 80 words a minute) i also read books at work. my goal is to read atleast 4 books while i am at work in the next 4 days. i have fans because i give good answers, i don't ask people to "fan" me they just do.

I'm not sure how many questions I've answered... But the reason I do so is because I love to help others, love to share what I've know with others who want to learn (and maybe learn a thing or two myself in the process).
The question I'm left wondering is why you feel the need to be a nasty little snot. It's infinitely more pathetic to have nothing to contribute AND nothing better to do than criticize people online. Don't YOU have a life?

For me, this is a great way to pass the time at work or at home. I enjoy seeing what others have to say and subsequently adding in my two cents. Someone who has over 1,000 answers may have accumulated that over time. It took me at least two and a half months to answer as many as I have.

As for a life, I do have one. Ever think answering questions IS a part of my life? I am a writer and editor and well, I love to write. Yahoo Answers, for what it is, allows me to write. And frankly, sometimes I need the creative stimulation beyond my usual work.

Next time you attempt to criticize or judge, I suggest you ask more friendly questions that are far less accusatory and ignorant.

you're new here, as we can see from the question you pose.im not that old, but when i first became a member i was asking myself why these people give so much of their time to help others.but its a place that you can ask WHATEVER you want and have people from different ages to help you.

and when you ask for example what does a boy want from me, its better to get an answer from a boy right?

you don't have to answer questions all day long..if yo answer 2 questions everyday then you have 730 points the year..!and some people are here for a really long time!

and when you are at work , at home or somewhere else, alone and bored why not helping these people?

Not all of us are as brand new as you are, hun. I've been a member since September which means I have averaged about four answers a day. This answer is going to take me a less than a minute to write.

You don't have to spend a lot of time each day on this site to rack up a lot of answers-- I think I average about 15 minutes. However, many of us are here consistantly and like to help others solve their problems and find information they need. So, I spend 15 minutes here and watch that much less TV or spend that much less time surfing other websites. It doesn't take away from my life, it adds to the things I enjoy doing.

Now, are you going to look inside yourself and find out why you are so critical of people who are participating in a site that you yourself are a member of?

Besides, if you are so clever, couldn't you have managed to put this question in the correct category? Or do you only dislike people who wish to share their knowledge of literature and writing?

I don't know. You are the one who feels the need to come online and criticize others for being online. Don't YOU have a life? Is your own life so shallow and meaningless that the only way you can make yourself feel better is by trying to flame people online that you don't even know?

Sad. Really, really sad. Maybe you need some friends. Or a hobby...
