The correct answer is MONEY.

I'm 90% certain if you had enough money you could elect a monkey to the white house.

(The other 10% is because there is a chance the National Enquirer would dig up photos of the monkey humping a giraffe or something and spoil the election.)

I dislike third parties. They only manage to guarantee that a minority elects the winner by splitting the vote three ways. The only way it would work is if the law required one candidate to acquire at least 51% of cast votes to win. Some countries do this. It is tedious and results in multiple elections.

So to answer your quesiton I am not interested.

Hillary will raise the $500 million needed to win. Edwards and Obama will not. With a Clinton/Edwards ticket Democrats will control the White House for 8 years. Then Edwards/Obama will control it for another 8 years. Sounds like a good plan to me..
Being President is not about the person, it's about money and power, Hillary has both..
