Well, honestly I don't know much about it because not many Persian films have made it to mainstream America. I though Children of Heaven was Phenomenal and would love to see other entries from Iran into the film world. There was a heart and passion there that's missing in so many films these days and independent and foreign films are just not as readily accessible to the general public as they should be which I think would bring that passion of film back. I think the public would be more appreciative than big studios give them credit for. We don't just want big effects and big stars... we want a real story, we want vision. OK, I've gone off on a tangent :-) But I think Persian films could be a part of that, especially if Children of Heaven is any indication. I have a small theatre chain opening near me that's supposed to show indie films... I can't wait!

:-)
