by making hard rubber...go through a process call

vulcanization...it is a process that heating rubber with sulphur

under 140degree celcius and using zinc oxide as catalyst


the treat rubber will turn hard(high quality rubber)

Add sulphur to the rubber compound. This is classic vulcanization, discovered by Charles Goodyear.
