Occasional swearing is alright, every other word can get very annoying. So I change the channel or skip the track.
If it's being blasted out of someone's car, I just shake my head and tune it out. I don't want someone telling me what I can or can't listen to, so I politely give other people the same courtesy.

Sometimes I think that it takes away from the song. A lot of the swearing is unnecessary. When you just hear **** and ***** over and over again it just sounds trashy and it gets annoying.

Artists are free to use any words they wish to use...that's art - and freedom of expression. I, too have the right to ignore any song and not purchase it. So it goes both ways, but I am against the government censoring any song lyrics (only the government can censor).

What maximum folk immediately could pass with the aid of. Curse words upload emphasis to a undertaking to hand via fact human beings frown upon them so usually. for occasion, if I have been to declare "I dislike you", could it get as lots of your interest as saying "**** you"? I doubt it. additionally, via fact of their being frowned upon, they upload yet another emotion, be it advantageous or adverse. the sentiments and factors portrayed would upload lots emphasis with the factor of marvel cost, which isn't something new to Hip Hop, to Rock, to Jazz, to Classical, or to something for that count number. via fact the saying is going "there's no pastime decrease than the solar that hasn't been performed".

Once or twice in a song is fine. But when every other word is a cuss word, it's unnecessary.
