Hollywood movies, Porno and other things that come from the USA are contaminating other countries? Cigarettes like Marlboro and Camel are making their way to 3rd world countries and addicting young children to their product. Mc Donalds and fast food is also spreading world wide. Coke and other cancer drinking soft drinks. Military weapons of mass destruction. Atomic Bomb. etc......Will our planet be a better place if the US and A not exist?

Other countries that have much less than the USA donate far more than you guys.

It's just that you news doesnt say it. They only advertise when the USA donates but not when other countries do.

It's possible, but I doubt it. If it weren't the USA, there's be another superpower nation getting in everyone's business. Probably Russia or China. Things would only be different, not better.

Besides, we also donate the most aid to other countries and have the most volunteer programs. We do give back to the world, it just doesn't get much attention.

Edit: You're allowed your opinion. But what countries, precisely, have higher foreign aid budgets than the USA? We do a lot of interference where we shouldn't, but we also provide a lot of aid to places where it's needed.

Unfrotunately, yes.

The USA is a nation of freedom, indeed. We are a people that want more out of our lives than we have and don't always care how we get that freedom. If we have to take it illegally or out of someone else's life, that seems to be acceptable to some.

We certainly do have all the worst "created" garbage in the world. You mentioned a few; porn, cigarettes, fast food, unnecessary weapons which all hurt us in ways that are difficult to repair. We are also responsible for the world's greatest amount of gluttony, greed and murders.

We could quickly ban weapons, pornography, alcohol, fast food, hip-hop and drugs...but who in this country could possibly convince 300 million people to stop exercising these freedoms? Do we really need to clean up our country to that extreme? Maybe not, but we have taken advantage of these freedoms and bent the law just enough to make us look bad (evil in some eyes) and morally exhausted.

Look at the billboards and signs on Broadway, Sunset Strip or turn on MTV for a few minutes. Sure we look evil to some higly religious nations, can you blame them for feeling that way?
