I was to be married this July and I took the ring off and cancelled marrying him or moveing in because I miss understood thought he did not want to marry so I hung up on him. The he showed up at my door knocking and begging me and I would not listen. His mom says he loves me with all his heart and she loves me and my kids too. My friends however say let it go. So why am I missing him today? Am I wrong?

before this I was not sure if I did love him and now my heart is saying i do. The reason I broke it was I was not sure but because his behavior at my door yesterday was him freaking please do not leave me I love you and the girls and he kept knocking and knocking and when I told him to go home I will talk to you later he placed his foot in my door. That is what scared me and I told him that he said he was sorry and it would not happen again he just did not want to loose me

wel if you love him and want to marry him then go be with him, dont let your friends choose your life for you because remember you have to live with the fact that you let something slip away... go get him before its too late good luck...

If a mother can love her sons girlfriend/wife then she thinks you are an amazing woman. Imagine how he must feel. Maybe hes just nervous. You know you love him but friends can sometimes give you the worst advice ... When me and my boyfriend were going out barely for a month and a half my best friend told me to break it off and now look were in it a year and a half today! (10-08-05) So just look deep into your heart and see what you want, maybe even giving the wedding some time.

Give it another try. If the guy loves you and your kids you should be happy. You don't say that you love him. Is this why you broke off the relationship, because you're not sure if you love this guy back? I think you're a bit marriage shy.Maybe talk to a councellor or the person who was to marry you. If he truly loves you and you love him and he is good to your kids do it. If there is more to the story than don't.
If you canceled everything because of a misunderstanding then maybe you really don't want to marry him and this was your out. Your friends can't really be objective so I would take the advice they offer with a grain of salt.

How can you misunderstand someone not wanting to marry you? Give him a second chance and LISTEN to what he's saying. If you have kids and he loves them too, what's the problem? What does your heart say? Go with it.

There must be more to this. Why would you cancel a wedding over a misunderstanding? Especially, when that misunderstanding, it appears, has been cleared up. Sounds like your punishing him for your error. Make it right.

Love ins't the only reason to get married. It's necessary, but not sufficient.
It seems you have only part of the deal ready. Give it time, do other things.

if you misunderstood hwat he was saying then tis your fault. its not his fault that you misunderstood what he said on the phone and shouldnt be saying sorry either. if you want to marry him then you better start saying sorry to him and begging for calling the wedding off.
