I don't believe there is a certain age you must be married by at all, in fact, most people I know who have been married are already divorced! Granted, as you get older, you'll run into more and more people who are on a second or third marriage, (sometimes more)!, but, is the hassle of divorce really worth being marred young? Years ago when our life expectancy was shorter, marrying young was the only option if we wanted a spouse at all. Now, as we are living longer, we can afford the time to wait it out and be sure we are with "the one".... and you might not find that person until you are 80.

I have no opinion on this because there are facts about this issue that can be cited. Here are some of them:
Since about 29% of the total US population has never married and 55% is married, the unmarried or never-married aren't really that "odd" as you put it. Whatever your status, you have lots of company and are not odd at all. Since 1970, people have been marrying later. In 2004, the median ages at first marriage were 25.8 yrs for females and 27.4 for males. ["Median" means that half were younger and half were older; it is not an average].

I would say 45. But some people never get married and love being single, its all a personal choice.

My opinion, no age.
But society? I'd say your 40's seems to make people raise their eyebrows.

It doesn't for the guy . For the girls, it depends on their looks. If they are not half bad looking, one wonders why not.(IMO)
