If you can look past cultural bias, these are probably more comfortable to wear than pants.

In past times, in certain regions and climates, a wise choice for comfort.

Some would say they are just dresses for men.

I don't like the look of them.....they look ...... contrived.....like something trying to be something it isn't. I saw men wearing kilts in Scotland and they looked liked they belonged there on them.....not a "stylish" thing. My nephew wore a kilt for his wedding and it was a regular Scottish kilt for his family.

Ridiculous. Even in countries where kilts are part of the culture, men don't wear them every day.
