nothing wrong with it....as long as d woman doesn't become too proud of this fact n starts putting her husband down.......especially in front of others. Here, humility is the key. Also, the husband shouldn't feel offended by this. He can either feel proud n happy of his wife or take it as a challenge n strive to earn more (through proper means of course)

It really doesn't matter to me. As long as he is bringing in some income and he is doing the best he can. Besides, if all the money is together then it's equally his. Money does not make a marriage. There is nothing that says the man is "supposed" to make the most money. The man should be the head of household, but money doesn't give him that status.

I am the only one working right now and it doesn't hurt our relationship. I told him to take as long of a vacation as he wants. Our bills are taken care of, so why can't he rest for a long while? He worked a slaving, thankless job for many years. He deserves a break. We will start building our dream house soon and we'll both be working extra hard so until then he can keep the tv company. Too many people think a job defines a man. I disagree. I think what defines a man is how he treats others.

My wife always made more money than me and it never bothered me. I even elected to stay home and take care of the kids for about 10 years while I worked as a wedding videographer on the weekends. I've always made a decent amount of money but her profession was always 2 or 3 times what I made.

My wife makes more than me and I can honestly say I am NOT complaining! Of course, we don't have any of those bizarre, macho, 1950's ethic sex wars going on in our house either. As a matter of fact, your question is even a bit difficult to understand. How could more money coming into the household ever NOT be good?!?

it depends on the person. I know a guy who doesn't work and his wife makes all the money and he is very happy. It can also put a mans ego down. In our society man is supposed to make the money so a man might feel less of a man if he doesn't

How can more money be a bad thing regardless who brings it to the table! If a man's self esteem is only based on the fact that he makes more than his wife, I pity him.

If a woman makes more money I don't see a problem with it, sometimes it's the way it goes. They should be a working partnership to where it wouldn't be an issue.

Its not that the husband is not succesful or anything..its just that the woman has a higher paid job than him. This shouldnt bother a marriage...good jobs mean good income..good lifestyle..

As a Husband, I wouldn't mind one bit. Matter of fact, I would love for my wife to make more than I do.
