With her early release, who thinks that if she were black she would have to serve all and probably more of her sentence.
People are saying it's harsh because shes famous, SHE keeps breaking the rules because she's famous and knows she can get away with it, I think its disgusting and I strongly feel if she was of any other colour than white, she would serve her full sentence. It makes me soooo cross!
What are your thoughts?

Just want to say, It is really interesting reading all of your views, the reason I asked the race question is because Busta Rhymes (pending), Lil Kim and many more black famous people have served lots of time for various crimes and didn't get away with it and they also have lots of money, that is why I asked that question. Keep them coming, it's great to hear I'm not the only one that thinks she should have served her full time. Thanks.

I don't think it's anything to do with race. It's all down to money.

absolutely-I agree with you. If she was black or an asian or an ordinary jane, she would have to go through the whole course of the sentence. Money aside, It is an unfair world where black tax has to be paid to this day in some subtle form or the other- conversely the opposite also holds true. The only hope is that she comes out a better person and realises that she got off easy and is kinder to less fortunate people she comes across in her life.

It is pathetic that she is on early release! Her money and because she is well known is why they have let her out! She didnt get a harsh enough sentence anyway, she should be treated like a criminal like the rest, she broke the law! And now she has been tagged I hear and on about putting diamonds on the tag so it looks like an ankle bracelet?! .... Behave! Put her back inside and she might learn..... she is a waste of space!! I dont think its her colour, if she was any other colour the same would have happened because of her fame and money.

I don't think it has anything to do with race. Red, Yellow, Black or White, she would have gotten out early. Her problem is her daddy's money. That got her out no matter what people might think. Like anyone thought she was going to serve the whole sentence anyway. I wish people would just let it go.

I think it's absolutley outrageous that she got early realease! It just shows that money talks.....what does she actually do? Oh, she appeared in a 'home video' and daddy has a lot of money, so hey, that's good enough reason to let her out early.....yeah, really talented...! It was reported that she cried the whole time and never ate.....she never eats anyway, judging by the way she looks!! People like her make me sick to the stomach. She needs a slap, that's what she needs....I can tell you what'll happen next - she's going to milk the experience for all it's worth, so expect to see her on every talk show, the book, and quite possibly the movie..."oh poor me, I was in jail for a whole 3 days, boo-hoo sob-sob".

I also feel that the stupid cow should not have been released early and the media makes as if her crime is just a silly light joke. She commited a crime and should be PUNISHED as we all would be.
With regards to the race thing I think that if say Gwen Stephany (white) and Beyonce (black) commited the crime they would have to serve all of their sentence. Its not because Paris is white it is because she is Paris Hilton and it also makes me cross.

I dont think its really race... all though that affects alot in our country today, sadly. But its because of who she is. Shes a little brat that has alot of money cause she can go out and get wasted and be famous for it. I mean look... even Michael Jackson was foun innocent. Do you think if he were still black he would have been found guilty? I dont. it all comes down to money and Who you are. not WHAT you are.

i don't know if race has anything to do with it but i laughed my as* off when i saw the pictures of the poor little silly b**ch crying on the way back to jail. ha ha ha. if you cant do the time don't do the crime!! i think that the whole family has a lot of money and power and someone was bought off to let her out so early. god bless the judge who sent her back. lets get the old goat over here and start metering out some good old British justice that seems to have taken leave of its senses lately.

I agree with the answer above - I don't think its got diddly squat to do with her colour, but everything to do with her money. She should have took this on the chin and done her full sentence, instead, she has acted like a spoilt brat and has become a laughing stock and lost any small respect anyone had for her in the first place.

She's a talentless fool. she would be able to't sing. she would be able to't act. in case you ever watched "the easy existence", she has no character and is not humorous. Nicole had to hold the full instruct. Even Hilton's porno replaced into somewhat boring. i could want to work out her do a duet with Christina Aguilera and then famous person opposite of Meryl Streep. together with her large ego she probable could think of she ought to actual do it.

Im with you, why should she get special treatment. She is afterall the same as you and me, a person who has broken the law. If it was you or me, we would not have the lawyers to help me go home after having a rash. She should do her time just like everyone else in society. It really makes me mad how celebrities and rich folk think they are above everyone else. Maybe after her stint in prison, it might just make her a better person and not abuse the system.
I could go on, but its making me angrier.
