3x + 4 >= 2
3x >= -2
x >= -2/3
So, the integer you are looking for is either -1 or 0, which are the two integers on either side of -2/3. X has to be greater than -2/3, so the answer is 0.

3x + 4 >= 2
3x >= 2 - 4
3x >= -2
x >= -2/3
So 'x' is greater than/or equal to -2/3 , but this is not an integer. However if the first integer greater than -2/3 e
which is zero '0', is substituted in for 'x' we have:-
(3 x 0) + 4 >= 2
That is 4 is greater than 2,
However, by checking, if the first integer less than -2/3 is substituted in for 'x' we have;-
(3 x -1) + 4 = -3 + 4 = 1 which is less than 2.
So the smallest integer value of 'x' which satisfies the inequality is zero '0'.

3x + 4 is more than/equal to 2 [Take away the four from both sides]
3x mt/et -2 [divide by 3]
x mt/et -2/3
the smallest integer is the smallest whole number which is more than or equal to -2/3, which would be zero as -1 is less than -2/3. Your answer is 0!
Ok? When doing algebra, just try and find what x is equal to, do that by removing the whole numbers, as I did with the +4 by minusing it from both sides, and then when you've done that make the x single by dividing or timesing both sides. for this I divided by 3, et voila, an answer!
If you're ever stuck try this website, it's really helpful, I used it loads during my a-levels :)

3x+4 >= 2
3x >= 2-4
3x >= -2
x >=-2/3
x should be more than equal to -2/3 to satisfy the inequality.
Therefore, the minimum value of x should be -2/3.
The smallest integer value of x
= nearest integer more than -2/3
=0

Here, > implies greater or equal to
if 3x +4 > 2
take away 4 from both sides
3x > -2
divide both sides by 3
x > -0.6666666666....
The smallest integer larger than or equal to 0.66666666
is 0
So the answer is 0.

3x+4>2 (or equal)
Taking away 4 from both sides:
3x>-2 (or equal)
Dividing Both Sides By 3
x>-2/3 (or equal)
so x could be -2/3
BUT no it can't though -
RTFQ =
Read the f****** Question
It has to be the nearest integer which should be-1
Now test to make sure:
(3*-1) + 4 = 1
This is incorrect so going i the other direction the other nearest integer to -2/3 is 0
TEST:
(3*0) + 4 =
0 + 4 = 4
which is greater then 2
Easy as that:)
