How do you stick stickers on Tamiya vehicles?

Stickers ? I've been building Tamiya aircraft, ships, and armour for almost 30 years now and have never seen "stickers" !!

Decals are what they use on all the kits I've seen !! Decals are transfers that are water-soluable.... you cut out the decal, tip in warm water for about 20-30 seconds, and then slide gently onto the model.

To do decals VERY well, it's best to apply to a smooth & glossy surface, and then snug the decal down with a "setter" like Micro-Scales "Micro-Sol". If the model needs to be "matte", you can then over-spray the model with Testor's Dull-Cote.
