No way! Paris Hilton is a person just like the rest of us. Whatever punishment we get for not following the law correctly, she should get EXACTLY the same. Money and fame are such a superficial yet valued issues in society nowadays that people really just need to step back and look at what really counts in the end. Paris Hilton is a bad example to the young girls of today who look up to her and other celebrities from all over the world. She needs to think seriously about her actions and how she wants to be viewed by the world. Thanks!

She is an uncaring, except for herself, spoilt brat. She could with her wealth, help so many others who are in dire straights, but being the thick ***** that she is, she would not know how to do anything for anyone except herself. I wonder how many soldiers lives it cost, to make the world a safer place for her to abuse and use laws of the country that she is allowed such a priveliged life in?. I do not recall any of the Hilton family winning medals for selfless valour, in any conflict. I sincerely wish that she could be humanised again and do something usefull with her life instead of being just another rich, selfish, slag. What sort of an upbringing did she have? did her parents have no time, or interest in her during her adolescense, is she really is the saddest example of the old saying "poor little rich girl". Maybe the world would be far better off without her or her kind. A final thought! she is the product of her parents ideas of childcare, she was not born to become the way she is now, she must have been an innocent little kiddy at some time in her sad life.

Before she even got to jail they were laying out the red carpet for her. News stations spoke to released individuals, which commented on the sudden cleanness of the jail for her arrival. Said today in the news was that she had come down with a rash and would not eat. She stayed in her cell and cried. With these argumentative facts in mind I believe she should stay in jail and serve her time. Several people have argued that one man in the same jail had medical problem, yet he was not released and died within five days. Why should she be aloud-ed any special treatment because of money or being a brat. She did the crime, now serve the time. I know that was lame, huh!

Hell No, it's not fair. she committed a crime. I hate that just because she has tons of money she gets out of jail early. The crime that she committed is serious, I've known people who were killed because someone was on the road driving under the influence. Paris Hilton should step up and serve her time in jail.

no it is not fair at all. If she was a regualr person, they wouldn't have released her because of some 'illness'. Celeberties already get special treatment, but when it comes to the law, they shouldn't. This just shows that they are 'above the law'

please..celebrities always get preferential treatment..the law always seems to bend for them..its no surprise already. But then again, paris did show 'remorse'..i guess it works with the juries if not for us..! Talking abt fair is out of the question for someone who is a heiress.

I don't know where you live, but in my country that's the way things are. It certainly is not fair, but people who have money and glamour does certainly manage to get out of any problem. And those who don't get into the so called "reformation centres" for offences they have never commited and come out as hard core criminals. It is useless to ask this question. If you really feel its unfair, get out there join a rights group and fight for JUSTICE.

well, there is 2 sides to the answer. Some people say she had harder treatment from the beginning,, i mean who goes to jail for driving on a suspended license(i did it, i just got a fine) other people say she should go back because she got teh punishment now she has to stay there, the contract of sending her there says no electronic monitoring, and no getting out early, so I don't know, think what you want.

Fair? Hel l no it's not fair! She supposedly got out because she had a rash. A rash! Don't they have infirmaries or medical wards in jail? If that was me in there for a DUI, they would let my azz rot off with a rash.
