My mother has had them for years in her garden and the same two plants always come back year after year, however she lives in a very hot climate in the USA. Has anybody had this flower in the UK and what as been your experience with them?

I don't know about the UK, but I live in Missouri and I have a lantana that I bought 3 years ago. It is in a hanging pot, I keep it outside all summer long and bring it in when the weather starts to change in the fall. It has came back every year.

I live in Tennessee and have had them come back after mild winters if I plant them in a protected spot with a Southern exposure, but that's an iffy proposal. If it gets below 20 where they're at, they probably won't come back after winter.
