As we sit under our quilt on this pile of quartz,
You questioned me if I’d like to become Mrs. Swartz.
You said your love was as wide as the equator,
That I’d never regret marrying you now or later.
I looked at the mosquito sucking on my hand,
Then squashed her as I gazed out on the land.
Casting my eyes on a colorful square with a splatter,
I mumbled don’t ask for reconciliation on this matter.
Environments for proposals shouldn’t be in a quarry,
So to answer your question on marriage, I’m sorry.

There were two lil ole ladies chatting while stiching on a quilt.
One square stitched to another as the quilt was being built.
The one lil ole lady asked a question as she slapped a little mosquito on her arm,
Wondering if she had done the environment any harm.
She asked if these little buggers flew way far over the equator, and if so, what was the reason for their flight?
Was it only to fly and to bite?
To bring us a virus or to take some blood?
Will it cause them any harm if we slapped another one?
Maybe saved a life from the west nile virus Im hoping.
As she sat there needle in hand, her body loping.
She thought of the worst case scenario,
of how when she used to rock hound, and when she would bring home all that quartz.
Were they as bad back then,
as they are right now?
Slap!
Another one dead,
She lifted her head,
Mertle, tell me, do you remember those times,
when a mosquito didn’t do us any harm?
Mertle, remember although her memory was as slow a turtle.
Answering back, well you know Beth, They say now that the mosquito carries the West Nile virus and that we need to be careful as to not get bit, by those little nits.
For Our Environment as changed over the years.
And well, now it has crossed over the border and into our rock quarry I fear
But, lets not worry,
not today.
Sew up your squares and continue with your quilt.
Last stitch then we will see how well it was built.
Reconciliating over the difference’s from back then to now,
Slap! Another mosquito squashed,
And that was The End of the two lil ole ladies,
for the Environment held their warning,
and now the two,
others were morning.
The West Nile Virus was the war that we lost,
The little ole ladies safe environment is what it cost.
When the Mosquito crossed over the Equator,
Lives soon lost now instead of later.

As to environment, question, mosquito, quartz, quilt reconciliation, square, squash, quarry and Equator,
I can probably do it, so I'll work on it later.
