You still have some Symantec apllications registered with LiveUpdate. You Should not remove unless all Symantec applications have been removed first.

How do I find out what those applications are and then remove them?

Symantec is the company who make Norton anti- virus etc.
If you remove all the Norton stuff from your computer you should be able to get rid of "live update", but it will still leave a "Root Kit" behind.
To remove this you need a utility such as AVG anti root kit tool, available free from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/
Nb. this only runs in 32 bit version of XP/ Vista

Go to the Symantec web site for complete removal instructions.

HINT: You should not remove unless all OTHER Symantec applications have been removed first.

Ignore it, and just uninstall... Dosen't really matter about it... its just another way to stop you un-installing...

P.S: GET AVG, ITS FREE!
