It's a shame when religion and superstition mingle to produce fear in perfectly normal people. Left-handiness is who you are, it has nothing whatsoever to do with religion. Many sports figures bat left-handed for example. Each person is an individual. It would be just as insane to decide that people with brown eyes are inferior, as it is to say that left-handed people are servants of the devil. I find it difficult to believe that anyone would be taken in by such nonsenses in the 21st Century. Whoever those "people" you speak of are, ignore them, and when you're old enough, join a church that doesn't freak out people because of their genetic inheritance. Meanwhile, speak to a doctor or your school nurse.

According to some research carried out years ago by some uni I never heard of before, left handed people are supposed to be more aggressive and violent than righties. Something to do with the side of the brain you use most.

I don't believe a word of it! I'm a leftie and I wouldn't hurt a fly (*sound of a bang on the table*) Yes! Got that bloody fly, it's been annoying me all day!

No, but seriously, if I were consigned to Hell it'd be because I lead a wicked life (well, according to the Bible I'm leading a wicked life) and not because I write with my left hand.

And another thing, I know some righties who have the MOST appalling handwriting I've ever had the misfortune to try and read.

Being left handed makes you no more of a sinner than being right handed. That's just plain silly. The handwriting will get better. Everyone has trouble learning to write. Besides, haven't you ever heard the old expression, "Left haned people are the only one's in their right mind"? If you don't understand this quote, the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and the left side controls the right side. Unless you are just sinning to be sinning, no you are not a sinner.

No, you're not a sinner because you're left-handed. People can't help it if they write with their left-hand, it has nothing to do with being a servant of the devil. You should not feel bad about being left-handed and you shouldn't have to try and use your right-hand. Just do what is comfortable for you.

I'm left handed also, and while I am a sinner (aren't we all?) I am NOT a servant of the devil. The belief that left handedness is a sign of the devil went out with burning witches...except, apparently with these people you refer to...you might want to remind them this is the 21st century, not the 17th.

It's not that the world is against us out of antagonism; we're just in the minority, so we have to adapt ourselves to doors, tools, instruments, etc. designed for the oppressive right handed majority ;)

My philosophy is...God made fewer lefties than righties, because if He had made us in equal numbers...we lefties would be running things! LOL.

In some cultures using your left hand is taboo. My grandmother is from Indonesia and, when I was a child, everytime I grabbed something with my left hand she smacked it. I don't really understand why cultures think this however, it is perfectly normal to use your left-hand. There are plenty of left handed people out there. Society just hasn't made it easy for us. Don't change who you are based on what society thinks the norm is. The norm is whatever you are. Be proud of who you are and all of the things that make you unique. Don't feel bad about that. It's not something that you chose for yourself it is something that you NATURALLY do.

Being left or right handed has nothing whatsoever to do with sin!! Be assured !! All of us are born into a sinful world, and we all need a Saviour, Jesus Christ of the Bible. Do not feel bad you are left handed, be thankful you have a hand !! And, start reading your Bible.......God loves you ! He made you just the way you are!! God does not make junk !! BE ENCOURAGED!!

Be grateful !! Be thankful. A lot of my loved ones are left handed. Do a Google search of famous folks in history who are left handed...it will encourage you! Do not let other's ideas and opinions bother you! Their opinions are wrong.

I don't think you are, but I believe you when you say that others do. I'm left-hand dominant, but when I was being taught to write (In church pre-school/daycare) I was forced to use my right hand because that's the hand that god wants me to use. I kept using my right hand for writing afterwards out of fear.

So I have horrible handwriting, and have been unsuccesful in training myself to use my left hand for writing now. And I hate church. Go figure. I still use my left hand for everything else, though!

Left handed people are very gifted and creative people, dont let anyone treat you as though youre not.
I would think that youve made this up except that as a child my father, went through this .while at school his teacher tied his left hand to his belt, to force him to write with his right hand and as a result screwed up his hand writing for life.so if what you say is true ,never feel bad about the way you are.all human kind is born into sin and shame ,the bible says if we dont know jesus as savior we are all servants of satan.not preaching so much as trying to get you to see that God doesnt say nothing about singleing out the left handed man ,that archaic crap comes from a misinterperted verse in the bible about final judgement, where the saved are on the right hand of God and the lost on the left.
the enemy trys to separate us from God by playing on our differences making us feel unacceptable to the one created us the way we are.
be proud of yourself and your difference, seek God and his will for you,be who you are.
If it is adults doing this to you, it s abusive.find a reasonable ,trustworthy adult and ask for help.
peace><>

being left handed is just the opposite of being right handed, just like girl is opposite of boy. don't let those remarks by other people get to ya, being left handed does not change who you are. My son is left handed and he is a great kid, and my older brother is left handed and he is a great artist. its normal too. ya know.. don't think that you are some freak just because most people are right handed,
