Women voted for Maggie Thatcher in their millions, not for her policies, but purely the fact that they shared a gender.a lot of people never recovered from Thatchers rule, and all because she was a woman.

well ok,women can keep the vote providing the election doesn't fall on the wrong time of the month for them, and they should be supervised by a male relative.

And she nicked my milk when I was at school but I don't see a case for stopping women from voting.

Maybe so, but Maggie Thatcher was a conservative who was probably too close to macho white males. Women absolutely deserve the right to vote and no country deserves a woman more than this one. Just the election of a woman in the U.S. would do wonders for women everywhere. You can't try to spread democracy in the Middle East and talk about the plight of women there and then say that a woman is not good enough to rule here. Hillary Clinton comes from a diverse and tolerant political party, and what better reason do you need to clean-up this neo-con mess. I truly believe she is sharp, well informed, articulate, and more inteligent than all her Republican counterparts combined. If she is to win, it is the women vote that is going to make the difference.

Wise people, why even waste your time with a question so stupid? He's just baiting U or really (stupid).
In the US the value and the power of our vote is in danger.
I don't believe, (and not just because I don't want to believe) we elected our current president. Maybe Twice. But either way the peoples voice was not accurately counted in many more ways than the media covered, which wasnt much.
Every voter should watch this HBO Documentary video at

With a question/statement like that, I'm sure many women reading this site right now; wonder if guys should be able to still vote!!!!
Most of the wars in this world are started when there has been a man in power!
You have made yourself seem like a right male chauvinist Pratt!

So you don't like Thatcher, so the women should lose the right to vote right? I,m sure some men voted for her too. Should they lose their right to vote too. Maybe you can let some women vote if they didn't vote for Thatcher. I think what would be best is if you let everyone vote, but they have to run it by you so can approve it. Your A tw@.

Margaret was a strong willed woman with an awesome ability to be heard in the male forum. Hillary does not have this quality among men or women, only among the uneducated and the woman who suffer the ability to have power at all.
The female vote in the U. S. is radical, yet women are a variety of intellligence unlike any other country. You must work for a vote here, or steal it. Hillary has too many enemies in the House and the Senate among men and women.

This question makes me laugh, seriously what century are you living in!! You seem to be the kind of man who would not vote for a female politician despite her being the best person for the job, simply because she is a woman.... pretty ironic huh...

Just because ONE woman did a lot of bad things for a country, it doesn't mean that we are all the same way. I'm not a right wing Tory with an inclination to sell off everything and invade countries that don't agree with us.
Stop tarring us all with the same brush!

Lots of men voted for John Major, Tony Blair, George Bush, Ronald Reagen and Jacques Chirac. Should we therefore ban men from voting as they only vote for 'stupid white men'?
