"What transpired here is outrageous," county supervisor Don Knabe said, adding that he received more than 400 angry e-mails and hundreds more phone calls from around the US.
He said Hilton's return home gave the impression of "celebrity justice being handed out".

I think personally she should go back in and start her sentence from the beguning... she deserves the same punishment that we would recieve... being a Celebrity shouldn't make a difference after all she is a human being like the rest of us!!!!

What do you think???

I am not American, but the way things are happening with the Paris Hilton saga is quite laughable.

What is actually happening here is that the entire scenario is making a mockery of the American Justice system, and the other criminals are taking note of this scheme and how to avoid your real punishment. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

How in heavens name can this be any example to the hard criminals at large if Justice can not even be dealt with with crimes like that of Paris Hilton? Is it because she is a Hilton?

Crime is crime whether you are a nobody or a celebrity with money. It actually sickens me to the core when I read things like this. Who does she thinks she is? It is just a pity that brats like her and many others does not realize that they are sowing and what you sow you will reap. I wont be surprised if she is still going to hit the earth with a bang for at the moment she thinks that she is a high flier and that she is untouchable, but wait and see, this type of attitude will not last.

It is so sad that she has her entire life ahead of her and the choices she make today, is going to effect her future. She is making her bed, she must maar lie on it.

sad to say but true.

I think she promised someone a large sum of money and they got her sent home. Little did they know that the judge presiding over the original sentence is the end all say all of how much time she serves and where she serves it. The person who let her out of jail will likely get a big punishment. I'm pretty sure she will go back to jail but won't have to start all over. She most likely had a mental break down and just did whatever she could to get out of her situation which in her cause doing whatever she could would mean promising money or sexual favors. Who knows which she actually did. Either way if I ever get arrested, when I go to court I am asking for my sentence reduced by half just for showing up to my court date. That's what Paris did and they said hey you showed good behavior by coming here let's cut your sentence in half. Everyone in America can argue that now thanks to her ignorant azz.

particular, she is dumb like a fox. She is a star, knows it and milks it for all she will. however the day will come while she would be no longer something extra desirable than a has been, sagging luggage and all. standard, we like our celebs because of the fact we envy them and their place, and prefer to verify their errors and miscues. Frankly, i easily don't comprehend plenty approximately her, and could desire to care much less, yet her call comes up so regularly which you would be able to no longer help yet examining, seeing, or listening to approximately her.

I live in Australia and heard this hours and hours ago that they were sending her back. God, can't you all just get over it? She's got nothing to offer the world. She did the cime. so she should pay the time. Your police force over there should be investigated for letting her out.
