Do you think the Democrats got control of the electronic vote when they took their slight control of the House and the Senate, and won certain states the positions of 'Secretary of State'?

What?

Got control of the electronic vote?
Do U mean electoral vote?
And which State has the position of Secretary of State now?

People, Republican or Democrat, this petty fighting is stupid. Unfortunately both parties are equally corrupt and/or self-serving. We used to be able to at least control which creeps were in power. To see the vulnerability of our most sacred right, and our only power, in a democracy, watch this HBO documentary video. "Hacking democracy" you can find it at google video and youtube.

Isn't it about time Democratic sore losers stopped whining about 2000 and 2004?

The Democrats controlled all of the local election machinery in the contested counties in Florida in 2000 (Secretaryof State Katherine Harris had no influence at that level at all). Though Florida law specifically states that military absentee ballots do not require a postmark, those Democratic election officials chose to illegally exclude tens of thousands of such ballots, which favored Bush decisively. In fact, the entire argument was about whether ballots voters never cast at all,
but may have slightly indented in the space next to Al Gore's
name, should have been counted.

It's worth noting that manual recounts of close elections are an historically much celebrated way of mutilating ballots in such a way as to change the outcome. The more the ballots are handled, the greater the opportunity for such monkey business.

Every media sponsored recount since then has had Bush winning. In a fair count, it wouldn't have been close enough to have justified a recount. The only documented instance of voter supression in the state took place when Democratic goons forced the closing of a predominently Republican precinct in the Haitian area of Miami.

In 2004, the documented incidents of vote fraud (notably in Milwaukee, where several election judges were imprisoned, and in St. Louis) were overwhelmingly committed by Democrats; no credible evidence of Republican fraud was ever uncovered, despite Bobby Kennedy, Jr.'s rather lurid attempt in that direction.

That said, both political parties will do their best to maximize their vote in a close election. Any reasonable person would expect as much. And neither party has a dearth of people who, in the right position, might resort to questionable practices to win. If the election is close, and the decisive districts are in the hands of one party or the other, count on countroversy. But don't fall into the silly, childish pattern of ascribing dishonesty to one political party or another- and don't buy into the whiny, childish and baseless "we wuz robbed" rhetoric that so many on the Left have used as an excuse for their electoral failure over the past eight years.

You mean the way Republicans did in 2000? Nothing like this is likely to happen. Republicans don't have as much influence or control and can't stop oversight - and Diebold is out of favor.
I don't think another right wing coup is likely. Just because Republicans get by with stealing elections does not mean others do it.

The Republicans has the control of the votes in Presidential elections and it was the reason that George Bush won.
