Was it the thought of amnesty, or the appalling fact that we need to get rid of illegal aliens from the country?

Because it was coddling illegals at the expense of Americans. Because it was dishonest. Because the Reid, Kennedy, Kyl, Martinez, Feinstein, and Bush tried to shove it down our throats thinking no on would notice.

I would really like to know what their 'hidden agenda' really is. It is obvious they do not want to enforce current laws. What are the ulterior motives?

The actual reason it collapsed is because the Senate Republicans heard from their constituents...and the Senators got terrified that they were about to lose their jobs, and all possibility of finding new funds (the Democrats heard a little of the same but most were simply going to shove it down our throats whether anyone liked it or not).....but further....

It failed because America does not trust its government to do what it says it will do as it concerns this subject. We have laws on our books now that are not enforced at all. They have law to secure our border now, yet it is NOT being done.

They can pass a bill that will secure the border, and therefore we can be secure in the fact that these 20 million illegals here now are our last wave of illegal immigrants? No sorry, I do not believe that, not even remotely.

If they want amnesty for 20 million illegals....
Pass a bill to secure the border (with no other BS).....
Go and ACTUALLY secure the border....
then America will be willing to discuss this.

Because we're finally giving these bums in Washington a dose of their own medicine! I'm so glad this bill is going down because of all the loopholes and mushy bull. I hope we can finally start telling these clowns in Washington that we're the bosses. Thanks!
