I asked the same question yesterday, take a look!! It's rather pathetic when people need to attack the person because they have no way of attacking the opinion! All he ever says is 'your jealous or unsuccessful'. Okay why would I be jealous of them?

The Pits man and his chums are projecting their anger and frustration onto people who do not agree with them. Abluebobblehat accuses us of speeding and being drunk drivers. What sort of logic is that? I don't think Pits man is angry about people pursuing the truth, he is just full of anger and hate and is using the McCann debate to spit venom. In his crazy logic we must all be unemployed, or loosers, or
chavs living in tower blocks. Duh.
Not all the people who sympathise with the McCanns post this sort of rubbish and some have made good points. We should agree to disagree without provoking paranoid abuse from the select ( I use the term loosely) few.

Abluebobcat has given me a headache again. Right. I'm sorry, but when people can't back up accusations, they shouldn't make them. Everyone has an opinion and you don't need a link to prove that. But when you are being quite harsh and causing divisions, it would be nice to know why some inbreds are spitting venom. Just my opinion...
Edit: Lexy, we do not care about money which is spent for the good of all missing children out there. We do care for money which is coming out of the pockets of the public to do... heaven knows! We are not being told. We know that it is to "provide finacial support to the McCanns" but should we have to pay for a very well-off family anyway? Why do they need finacial support? They're being handed everything on a plate to them as it is!

I do not defend nor agree with the parents decision to leave their children alone, infact I think it is disgracful. I do defend their publicity drive as I would do the same in their position. Sitting around crying won't bring her back. I think people have lost site of the fact that the little girl didn't ask for any of this, She is 4 years old and needs everyones help no matter what it is. There will be time when this is over whatever the outcome to lay blame at the parents door, but for now I think we should support them in their search as they could have just gone home and done nothing like parents in the past.

"With respect to the now millions of immigrants in the UK, we do NOT have anything against you ; however I am sure you understand that we do not wish to fill the UK to bursting with people from all over the world, it is OUR UK after all."
this is what is written on PILTDOWN MANS profile. he is not the perfect citizen he likes to think he is. he is rude, aggressive and very nasty to fellow users. hes got a serious anger management issue, and needs to understand just because we don't all share the same views that does not make him right. this user has insulted and been rude to me on several occasions just because we do not share the same opinion,he doesn't exactly sound the caring perfect person with the things he has written on his profile. its about time yahoo started taking steps to permanently ban these sort of people who make it their job to insult people all day every day. we all have our own mind and make our own choices. he turns nasty on anybody who he disagree's with. grow up "piltdown man" by the responses i have read on here you have been doing it a lot. manners cost nothing, but it seems you do not have any. you shouldnt cast judgement on others when you obviously try to defend your clear racism. those who live in glass houses should not throw stones,as one day you will reap what you sow. get help, you obviously need it. am glad some one has had the nerve to name and shame you. its no more than you deserve.

I have had a long conversation with by brother in NZ and asked him about how the McCann incident has been viewed over there.
He told me that the TV has all but dropped the story but the radio and newspapers still cover the story as NZ has a very large expat UK community. The radio and newspapers have ALL said they feel there is something odd about the McCanns and that they feel there is something not being told about the exact events of that evening,Australia has the same opinion, they are not being received well over there.
I also spoke to my wife's friend in Marseille France and she said that the French population has little interest in the story but those that do comment (TV radio newspapers) have a deep mistrust of the McCanns story ,saying very much the same as a lot of UK people do,ie the alleged 30Min's checks and leaving the children unattended.
As for "Piltdown" he constantly refers to some as losers and sycophantic about their "class",Just what does he base his assumptions upon? Is he in fact a loser?
If I am a loser then being able to retire at 44, travel extensively and very financially secure must be quite a disappointment.
Unlike him who will have to work possibly until he is 70 before claiming his state pension I can reap the rewards of my mediocre success now

Well said Murcia, LOL!
Piltdown is a joke, how pathetic to just come on and say we are all losers and whatever. How does he know anything about any of us? So only certain people are qualified to have an opinion about this case? He is also quite happy to deny us the right to free speech and wants us hounded by the press for simply expressing an opinion. Sounds like a far right supporter to me folks. If you read his anti-immigration rant on his profile you'll probably come to the same conclusion.
Personally I'm doing fine, have a job I enjoy, a beautiful wife and two great kids under 4 (who, needless to say, we would never leave alone!) Life is great thanks!
Abluebobcat, I obviously strongly disagree with you but at least you've made an attempt here to put together a coherent argument. I think your arguments are weak but at least you made them. Maybe you aren't Piltdown after all.

Pitdown Man obviously has psycholgical issues of his own. He is either projecting this on to those who answer against his beliefs on here, or he has deep rooted issues regarding the whole scenario. Maybe by accusing us all who do not support him as being 'envious' of the wealth of the McCanns he is actually envious himself but cannot accept this in himself and so he has to project it on to us. The alternative is he is a bitter and angry person who just likes to stir things up for the sake of it. Whatever reason, he is a sad man.

I've been avoiding posting on this subject for while as it just seems that this has degenerated into a constant slanging match between members.
But while a lot of what ABlueBobCat says is valid, although I still think you can spin each point whichever way you want depending on your point of view. My dislike of the McCanns stems not solely from their actions over their daughters, (although it was a gross breach of the trust given to them by their children), as you are right I have made mistakes in my life and maybe I am lucky that things didn't turn out worse so i should reserve judgement.
But mainly what bothers me so much about these parents Mr and Mrs McCann, is that I believe they are courting celebrity status and they are creating a brand for themselves by cheap gimmicks and meeting celebrities and world leaders (which is just pure PR). Make no mistake, they will be offered huge deals for interviews and stories in the future and I they have given me no reason to believe they will donate any of it to charity.
They seem to be relishing this fame they have created, and this may seem a very harsh thing to say, (as many people fall for it) but they do seem to be seeking the fame and attention, they have shown no desire to move out of the media spotlight and I just don't see that meeting Gordon Brown, senior ministers, celebrities etc is adding a lot help to the police search.
Even the radio interview guy in Germany was asking them hard questions, so it would seem that Europe as a whole has some questions about their conduct during this - I have never seen anything like it before and they have taken a lot of professional advice to help them create awareness and the Brand team McCann.
I do believe that they are not evil people and they didn't do this intentionally, but they are starting to give the impression that they believe they are one of the most important couples in the world right now. And at the back of my mind, it almost feels like that although they have had to suffer the worst kind of tragedy (and sadly they weren't the first and won't be the last) but that they are now being 'compensated' by being made very wealthy and famous. That sounds awful I know - but that just seems to be the vibe i feel.
I have heard couples arguing about this on the train into work. Many people believe this has been blown way out of proportion and the McCanns are milking it for all it is worth and many others feel that, that point of view is cruel as they have lost their daughter. But really they are arguing the same thing. That this issue doesn't look, sound or feel as if it is about Madeleine anymore, and that it is actually now more about following a new celebrity couple.
