I'm in the office. I have a meeting in about an hour at the client's office. My sandal strap just snapped. What do I do? Tried stapeling it. Didn't work!

Depends on where the strap is & what it's made of - more info please options are:

1. Superglue. Stick it back to the sandal with superglue - which is v. good for this type of thing. Superglue is probably your best best - you want the v. fast quick drying stuff and the gel form is easier to control than the liquid type. Failing that you could try sellotape on the inside to conceal it or a trimmed down bit of packing tape but it probably won't hold.

2. Cut it off completely and (if obvious) do the same to the other one (but it depends where the strap is). If it's an ankle strap will depend whether sandals will stay on.

3. Bin them and rush out and buy a pair of new shoes.

4. Find a colleague with similar size feet who will lend you a pair for the meeting.

5. Rush to a re-heeler or leather shop and see if they can repair it for you.

Without knowing more about the material the strap is made of and where on the sandal it is - Superglue is your best option I think.

1. Try wrapping tape around it!
2. If the strap doesn't help keep your foot in the shoe, then cut it off on both sides. (Unless they're very expensive and can be fixed.)
3. See if you can temporarily trade shoes with a coworker!
