I'd teach her something new instead of buying her a gift. Maybe show her a few guitar chords or something like that.

Her Britannic Majesty officially celebrates Her real birthday of 21 April on Saturday 16 June 2007.
It is traditional that the Monarch and Head of the Armed Services inspects Her Troops on this day, hence the Trooping of the Colour (the official concecrated flag of the Regiment).
As Head of State, Her Majesty doesn't require anything from you, except your loyalty.
Your question has allowed many silly and immature people making inane comments.
Vivat Regina Elizabetha.

Let's see, for a woman who has everything? In the past, the Queen has received
---2 tortoises in the Seychelles (1972)
---a 4-year-old elephant from Cameron's President (1972)
---a canary on a state visit to Germany (1965)

Most recently, on a state visit to the United States, President George W. Bush gave HRH a statuette of a cowgirl and her horse, a replica of the life-size "High Desert Princess," sculpted by Mehl Lawson, as well as a leather box with a collection of sentimental memorabilia from the National Archives.

Ned's right the queen's birthday IS IN APRIL ...
what would I give her ? a day of peace and quiet , in disguise so that she could have ONE NORMAL day in her life.
Theta Sigma: :) the official HOLIDAY for the Queen's Birthday is in June .. least it is in all australian states EXCEPT Western Australia .. they have the Holiday in September.... BUT her actual birthday is in April.
The date in June has been used for a few monarchs .. easier to keep the same date as the holiday rather than change it for each monarch.

I'll pray for her strenght (what with a husband like Philip and a son like Charles), for her to have inner peace and a long life because she's the only one with sense in the royal family and if she should die, I'm afraid to ponder what would happen to the monachy. And I would pray for her happiness.

Since the American lady (film actress) could not accept the Queen's dinar invitation, then the Queen should invite the last king of Scotland (film actor) this time as one of the birthday dinner guests. How about that?

Nothing. But perhaps the painting of a picture, the crafting of jewelery, or the writing of an opus would be appropriate for royalty.

I should think at her age, and seeing how many official duties she has, the best present for her would be a rest. I cannot imagine how she keeps going
