the dead are people who lost their souls ... so they get buried in their GRAVES then depending on what they did when they were alive he/she will got to HADES or PARADISE

The dead and decaying material is decomposed by the micro organisms which exist everywhere on earth
the dead matter is decomposed and the proteins and ammonia are converted into nitrites and nitrates which are released in the soil
and the plant absorbs these nutrients for its growth and repayment of its tissues,cells etc.
this was the nature is balanced
the green plants take in the nutrients from the soil
the herbivores eat the green plants, the energy and nutrients are transferred to them
the herbivores are eaten by the carnivores,and the same the energy etc are transferred
when the carnivores or other consumers die
the decomposers especially the bacteria and fungi act on them
and thus release the nutrients from the dead matter into the soil....and thereby there is a nutrient cycle maintained.
grave,hades ,paradise hell etc is what people believe

You can know where the dead are if you believe the Bible. According to the Bible, all who leave this life without knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour go directly to hell which is deep in the earth, and all who know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will go to be with Him in heaven. Their physical bodies go to the grave or get cremated, but their souls either go to heaven or hell.

Unfortunately I think they are in graves. Nobody who has died has come back to visit me.

the dead are in the ground. where their spirits or souls are is up for debate but thir dead bodies are definitely in the dirt.
