I'm 17 and I have D-DD breasts. I'm not over weight, but I have lost a lot of weight. But my breasts havn't gotten any smaller.

I find them really annoying and unnessary.

Is there anything else I can do (except surgery) that will make them smaller?

I'm 17, so i'm not going to be getting pregnant anytime soon.
I'm not interested in the tiny minds of the horny male species! If they aren't interested in me, for myself, then i'm not interested.

Exercise and diet will help you. Women tend to loose weight from their boobs first so that should help. Get a good diet from your doctor and do a bit of regular exercise and you will be surprised at how quickly you will benefit.

While some men do prefer a woman with your stature; many do not realize how much of a strain it can be on your back to carry such a load. I had a friend in high school who complained how much her back hurt her (she was the same size as you are). You may have inherited a larger chest from your family. Or you may not have lost all of the weight just yet.
The only thing you can do for now is upper body exercises and strengthening exercise for your back. Anytime you go under the knife you are taking a risk. And you may not like the results after wards.

There is a class of compounds called phytoestrogens, found in various plants, e.g., soy, legumes, hops and the red clover of Australia and New Zealand, that have estrogenic and antiestrogenic properties. They have a net estrogenic affect when endogenous estrogens, i.e., estradiol, estrone, are low, e.g., during menopause. Even though, these compounds are far less potent, than estradiol, or estrone, they may have a net estrogenic effect due to the shear number of molecules present.

The antiestrogenic affect, of these exogenous estrogens, is achieved by competing with endogenous estrogens for cellular binding sites. An estradiol, or estrone molecule cannot bind to an estrogen receptor, when it already has bound with a less potent phytoestrogen.

This competitive inhibitory effect, may explain why Asian women, have smaller breasts, smaller buttocks, and less breast cancer. Their traditional diets are rich in phytoestrogens.

Consider, researching the literature for foods that have high concentrations and high bio-availability, of the least potent phytoestrogens. You don't want to take any supplements designed to alleviate the symptoms of menopause. They are most likely comprised of the more potent phytoestrogens. Just like human and animal estrogens, there is a broad range of potency among the "plant estrogens".

A phytoestrogen rich diet, may also protect one from the ravages of oral contraceptives.

I have the same problem...they will just get bigger as you get older (have kids, etc). I've been wearing a bra to bed (buy one made of a lighter fabric). This kept them in good shape and I'm in my thirties and have 2 kids. Also you can purchase good quality bras (minimizer bras) from www.onehanesplace.com. These bras makes my chest looks 1-2 inches smaller than they are. Sports bras are ok for support but they make my chest look like I have a one big boob. I might get a surgery later on but until then...this works.
Good luck!

I think the fitness instructor can help to shed off some fats by doing the appropriate exercise. Nothing much other than that ruling out surgery which is a wise decision to take.

Just be thankful for God has make you that way. Imagine those who has less asset and are trying all kind of ways to make it go the opposite way ! Big that is !

Be contented but don't use you asset to abuse and attract the wrong kind. It's already bad as it is being a woman, so don't encouraged the wolves and sex maniac please - speaking as a man, knowing man for what they are , nothing but sex on their mind all day long.

At 17, you should be asking your mother, grandmother, or aunts a question like this.

The males who are going to respond to this question here are going to make you wish you had never asked it here.

I think it's pretty normal for 17 year old girls to be unhappy with their breasts once they start to grow. Most women will probably tell you that you need to get used to it, but there are some support bras that you can buy that will help you be a lot more comfortable.

If you have lost weight and your breast have not gotten smaller I think your only option is for surgery. I have know people who have had that surgery who was afraid at first but said it was the best thing they ever did. You might consider it before it starts messing with your back.

There are some areas that are more difficult to lose fat than others. It is possible that you could still lose some of the size. Otherwise, I have seen bras in stores (Mervyn's I think) that advertise for reducing your size by one cup. I am not sure how it works, but you should check it out.

Have babies and breast feed them. Then you'll have two hugley wide long flat pancake things hanging to your navel. Or what resembles pantyhose with a small rock in each foot, hanging.

NO. No alternatives other than a reduction. Not any that work. Unless you were to become grey-hound thin. Curves are nicer. I hope you will wait long enough to learn to consider them an asset, but I believe insurance often pays for reductions, it can be strain on your back, neck, shoulers, or pin in the breasts themselves while exercising (I am giving you tips on what to complain about to your doc so you can be referred through insurance).

I don't know if there is a non-medical way to reduce. Sometimes woman lose size when lactating or after a pregnancy. I had the opposite occur and I'm in your shoes. I don't like it either.
