The 96 bulls would crush the 07 spurs. Lets just recall that the 96 bulls only posted a 72-10 record that year oh ya which to my knowledge is still the best of all time, not to metion that year they steam rolled through the playoffs on there way to winning yet another championship. Plus jordan only scored about 30 a game that year. Plus look at the eastern conference that year the teams were much more talented that year then there are this year. the 07 spurs are good but there nothing compared to the 96 bulls. bulls would crush them in 4. and on another note they would also beat the 99 spurs. just remember the 90's bulls are considered one of the greatest teams of all time.

The 1996 Chicago Bulls. There would be a lot of match up problems with San Antonio Spurs. You have two guys in Chicago that can kill you. And who would San Antonio let Bruce Bowen gaurd? Pippen or Jordan? Dennis Rodman can stand his own ground against, Tim Duncan, and could get him into foul troubles. Ron Harper is a big gaurd and would just post a shorter gaurd. Luc Longley and Fabrico Oberto are slighly even, but Longley has more advantage on the offensive end.

96 Bulls vs 07 Spurs

96 Bulls in 6.

What a foolish question. There is absolutely no comparison. The Bulls were the greatest team to ever take the court. The Spurs aren't even a dynasty. The Spurs beat a #8 seed and the worst team to ever make the Finals, the 2007 Cavaliers. The Bulls beat teams with records of 64-18 (Sonics' franchise record), 64-18 (Utah's franchise record) and 62-20 (Utah's #2 record alltime).

Have to consider if everyone is really "on". Bowen could probably do a pretty good job guarding his airness. I really love the spurs but I would not go with the Bulls in a sweep. It would also depend on which set of rules, as mentioned by another answer, how tight are the fouls being called. In today's game I think Rodman would be in foul trouble early. It would come down to the Bulls big 2 or 3 to SA and their bench. That is so much of their strength. Sorry I am gonna go Spurs in 7, but man would that be an exciting series....Only I would like to bring David "Sir, Admiral" back for at least one game.

Bulls in six games. Bulls should have three Hall of Famers when it is all said and done. No way can anyone on the Spurs stop Jordan. Here is the real question can the 2007 Spurs beat the 1997 Jazz team.

Tough to answer but I would like to analyse it a little bit. the biggest advantage for the spurs is Duncan. But İf dennis Rodman defends duncan,Duncan won't be very effective.Dennis Rodman is probably one of the best defenders in The NBA at all times.İf the spurs want to beat the bulls they need help from the outside scorers. But it's gonna be a tough one because jordan and pippen are very good defenders as well as good scorers. However, Manu can be the X factor for that match(like Kukoc).Parker will be another X factor for the spurs.İf Tony gets lost in the game,Bulls have no difficulty killing the spurs.Because Jordan and pippen can wipe out spurs guards easily.Bowen will be wiped out very easily because nowadays bowen can't defend guards.Bowen makes a lot of fouls when he defends a tough scorer. In conclusion,I think the spurs eventually win the game because of duncan

While I know everyone thinks this is an obvious answer, I think the question is what rules are we going by. The rules in the Jordan era allowed for players like Jordan and Rodman to thrive with their hardnosed defense. But nowadays, those ticky tack fouls are called all the time which works in favor of a team like the Spurs who aren't hard nosed as much as they are a nuisance, slow and deliberate.

That being said, if we're going by the old rules, I think the Bulls would win. Duncan would probably have an extremely tough time against Rodman and while Tony Parker would be nearly impossible to stop, the same can be said for Jordan even with Bowen on him. The Bulls bench is far deeper. Yes, the Spurs have Ginobelli, but that's it. Guys like Kerr and Kukoc have come through for the Bulls time and time again and the Spurs don't have the bench to match up against the Bulls if Duncan or Parker end up in foul trouble. Plus, we've seen that the triangle works well against the Spurs as in the Lakers-Spurs matchups. Bulls in 5.

If we're going by the modern rules, I think it'll be a lot closer. Rodman would pick up fouls way too easily and he would likely get ejected after getting pissed. Which would mean you wouldn't have much to stop Duncan. But even then, you'd have to think that MJ would somehow come through like he has in the past. Bulls in 7.

I'm a big Spurs fan but I think that the '96 Bulls would win in 7 games over the '07 Spurs.

The '99 Spurs would be a better match and I think they would win over the '96 Bulls.

This one is hard to answer. But not because of the obvious, which is that i have been a spurs fan since it was the ABA. Because there are great players on both teams oddly enough they were not all flash and badness back then, They are the most similar
and comparable in defense and style than most other legendary
teams . In my heart it will always be , the San Antonio Spurs!
But what my mind wanders to,what a game that might be?

Haha. Bulls in a sweep. Arguably the best team ever against these Spurs is laughable. This Spurs team is good but they weren't even the best team this year and only won 58 games compared to the Bulls 72. The Bulls have the greatest player of all time and a Hall of Famer in Pippen. No match.
