misspelled stitches. I knew it didn't look right, darn it.

Last time I did they stepped on it, spat on it, drove a stake through it, and threw it in the trash to shrivel up to nothing......last time I am ever opening my heart up to anyone......

Yes. Sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't.
But remember the worst hurt of all can be the pain caused by regret and wondering If Only you had said something, so its better to put your cards on the table and say what you think, especially where emotions are concerned. It's always hard to do this, no matter how old you are or how many times you've done it, but the main thing is to do it, take the chance and see if you get a result. Sometimes you may not get what you want, other times it may pay off, for sure sometimes it will, so never be afraid to try, to lay it on the line and say what you want to say because its the only way of giving yourself a chance that you will get the result you want.
Keep trying. It doesn't get easier, but you will get used to it with time and practice!

Yup, but I never really have looked intently at the scars to count the stitches. The scars used to give me a bit of pain every now & then, & even tho it happens every once in awhile, the pain is hardly noticeable anymore except for every once in a long time.

Yes, that's why I keep myself away from being too close with too many people. No, I'm not Emo or anything, I just don't want to feel hurt anymore.

You're such a weinie boy. 19 stitches is nothing. I had at least a dozen aortas. People kept telling me aorta do this and aorta do that. I was so confused that getting me to do anything was like trying to get blood from a stone. Ven-tricle down economics came around...... I just layed my self out in vein. But I artery told you about that one before. I'm sorry about your heart. I hope it gets val-en-tine.

l just recently just did and if it takes 19 stitches to heal am on my 3rd stitch..thanks for letting me know how long it will take to repair the damage

I found these really cute heart patches at WalMart - they're iron on so I've had to use them a couple of times - other than that, my heart's been in pretty good shape.
