ACPI - Advanced Configuration and Power Interface .. all new processors use this to run cool.. and use less power..
processors like amd x2 and intel core 2 duo rely on this to have low thermal power dissipation ...
it could be that your motherboard doesn't fully support this feature ... try upgrading to the latest bios for your motherboard..

If you can get around it such as disable it, do so; messing around the programming of BIOS is the last thing you should do. In the hand of a novice or unstable power an expensive door-stop could result.

BIOS is the most elemental programming that a computer have. It is now a Flash chip on the motherboard, you need the exact model of the board to go to the official source to get the stuff that enables you to update it correctly.

(Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) is a power management specification that allows the operating system to control the amount of power distributed to the computer's devices. Devices not in use can be turned off, reducing unnecessary power expenditure.
